Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Los Gatos, CA, for a Senior Director of Philanthropic Engagement. The Senior Director will oversee the development and implementation of strategic philanthropy initiatives, manage donor relationships, and drive fundraising efforts. Key responsibilities include program and project management, team leadership, and fostering effective communication with stakeholders to align philanthropic priorities with organizational goals. The role will also involve consulting with donors, managing fundraising campaigns, and collaborating with other departments to achieve philanthropic objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Program Management and Project Management
• Proven Communication abilities with the capacity to engage diverse audiences and effectively present ideas
• Experience in Team Leadership and the ability to inspire and develop staff
• Expertise in Consulting and relationship-building skills with philanthropic stakeholders
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Proven track record in fundraising, donor engagement, and executing successful philanthropic initiatives
• Familiarity with the Jewish community, culture, and traditions is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred
