About The Opportunity

We are partnering with a rapidly growing healthcare organization to identify a Director of Sales Development to support the launch and expansion of a specialty infusion platform across Texas.

This is a high-impact, build-stage role where you will work closely with executive leadership to drive market expansion, develop referral networks, and support strategic growth initiatives across infusion and specialty services.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and grow referral partnerships with hospitals, health systems, and physician groups
  • Build relationships with key specialties including rheumatology, gastroenterology, oncology, neurology, and infectious disease
  • Engage with case management and discharge planning teams to drive referral conversion
  • Support payer strategy and managed care initiatives, including network positioning and contracting discussions
  • Establish and maintain pharmaceutical manufacturer and distributor relationships
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure scalable and compliant growth
  • Build market intelligence, CRM workflows, and KPI reporting structures
  • Represent the organization in meetings with providers, payers, and industry partners
  • Support go-to-market strategy for existing and future service lines

Required

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in healthcare business development, sales, or operations (home infusion, specialty pharmacy, home health, or related)
  • Proven ability to build relationships and contribute to measurable growth
  • Understanding of healthcare reimbursement (HCPCS/J-codes, prior authorizations, buy-and-bill vs. pharmacy benefit) or strong willingness to learn
  • Exposure to managed care or payer collaboration
  • Strong business acumen and data-driven mindset

Preferred

  • Experience in infusion, specialty pharmacy, or post-acute care
  • Startup or high-growth environment experience
  • Existing relationships within Texas healthcare markets
  • Experience working cross-functionally with clinical and operations teams
  • Exposure to sterile compounding or complex infusion therapies
