Key Accounts Director – Responsibilities

• Deploy customer strategy and grow Flowers Foods’ revenue, distribution, market share, and profitability with assigned key account(s).
• Build relationships with customers’ key decision makers and enhance Flowers’ reputation through effective business engagement.
• Develop and implement customer strategy to achieve volume growth targets, category goals, expanded distribution, and improved space and promotional strategy.
• Build and manage a Customer Sales Plan that delivers sales and margin objectives within the Trade Promotion Management funding structure.
• Partner with Regional VPs from DSD sales and Market VPs to ensure alignment and excellent execution by Flowers distributor partners.
• Achieve or exceed all established key sales measures and targets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Sarbanes–Oxley, Safety, etc.).
• Perform other duties integral to the position, including adherence to schedules, attendance policies, and applicable operating rules and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• A minimum of 8–10 years’ experience in CPG sales.
• Proven success in leading a sales organization.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time; overnight travel as needed.

Essential Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent management experience required.

Salary Range: $120,000 – $125,000
