Area Sales Director - Berlin/Conway/Littleton

Flowers Bakeries has an immediate opening for an Area Sales Director to support direct store delivery (DSD) sales and Independent Distributors (IDs). The role involves managing customer relationships, initiating sales activities, growing the customer base, identifying new selling opportunities, and tracking sales data. You will work with a Market Vice President and the Sales Enablement team to analyze market opportunities and use consumer insights to adjust sales strategies.

Responsibilities

• Support DSD sales and Independent Distributors (IDs) to manage customer relationships and promote execution in the market.
• Engage in sales activities, grow the customer base, seek new selling opportunities, and track sales data.
• Build and maintain solid relationships with key accounts to ensure promotion and display execution.
• Utilize digital tools to show execution wins and identify opportunities for continued growth.
• Collaborate with Market VP and Sales Enablement to analyze market/territory opportunities and adjust sales strategies using consumer insights.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales. Experience as a sales rep, distributor, or other sales position required.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience.

Essential Job Requirements

• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
• Valid Driver's License and Safe Driving Record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $72K - $80K and an excellent total rewards package. Benefits may vary depending on location.
