Job Overview
Works closely with the Executive Director in the development and execution of the marketing plan for the community. Meets or exceeds all budgetary and occupancy expectations.
Reports To
The Sales Director will report to the Executive Director. The Sales Director position is an exempt, salaried position.
Salary Range
$80,000 - $85,000 yearly.
Responsibilities
- Conduct telephonic and direct sales calls in accordance with established goals, ensuring leasing expectations are met or exceeded.
- Manage all move‑ins/move‑outs to achieve maximum revenue performance for the community.
- Communicate incoming resident’s needs and requirements to the Health & Wellness Director.
- Actively maintain a meaningful wait list.
- Assist in lead‑generating activities to ensure adequate leads are produced to meet performance expectations.
- Manage and maintain a working knowledge of the lead tracking and marketing software programs and systems.
- Assist in motivating and rewarding associates to meet or exceed performance expectations in consultation with the Executive Director.
- Maintain an active, working knowledge of current competition.
- Maintain and communicate current product information to associates (pricing, program changes, promotional programs).
- Create and maintain a positive image of the community with residents, the community, and other associates.
- Complete all mandatory compliance, HIPAA, and state and federal regulatory training, as required.
- Maintain an appropriate degree of confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledgeable of the industry and of the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing the community.
- Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), and the ability to learn new applications.
Physical Abilities
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
- The associate must be able to lift or carry up to 25 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
