Sales Director – Energy Storage (Germany)

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for the German energy storage market; identify growth opportunities and define sales targets.
  • Build and manage a high-performance sales pipeline; lead negotiations and close contracts with distributors, installers, system integrators, and utility companies.
  • Leverage existing local channel and project resources to accelerate business conversion and revenue generation.
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and regulatory changes; provide strategic feedback to HQ for product and pricing optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, supply chain) to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above; 5+ years of experience in the new energy industry (solar, storage, inverters, EV charging) or solutions background.
  • Deep understanding of the local German market; proven ability to drive market expansion.
  • Existing local network of distributors, installers, system integrators, and utility companies with resources that can be quickly converted.
  • Fluent in both German and English (business negotiation and written communication).
  • Strong strategic thinking, results-oriented mindset, and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
