Director of Strategic Sales, Domestic & International

A global, technology-enabled logistics provider is seeking a senior sales leader to drive growth across international/domestic freight forwarding, NVOCC, and managed transportation services. This role focuses on acquiring new enterprise customers and expanding strategic shipper relationships across key global trade lanes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead new business development for international transportation and global managed services
  • Execute a strategic sales plan to significantly grow revenue within 12–15 months
  • Prospect and close opportunities across manufacturing, retail, technology, and industrial sectors
  • Position multimodal solutions including air, ocean (FCL/LCL), cross-border trucking, and customs
  • Collaborate with operations and solution design to deliver customized proposals
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and RFPs/RFQs
  • Expand existing accounts and increase wallet share
  • Track pipeline activity and forecasts in CRM
  • Represent the organization at industry events and customer meetings

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of international freight forwarding or global logistics sales experience
  • Strong experience in domestic logistics
  • Strong understanding of global trade lanes, INCOTERMS, and multimodal transportation
  • Established shipper relationships and solution-selling background
  • Experience with CRM platforms
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed
