Sales Director – Tier 1 Service Providers

A leading global technology innovator in the telecommunications space is looking for a high-impact, strategic new business leader to drive growth across the DACH region.

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of key Tier 1 relationships , shape complex deals, and influence the future of broadband and digital experience across major service providers.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute strategic account plans across Tier 1 telecom operators in DACH
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-value, multi-domain solutions
  • Identify, shape, and close large, complex, value-based deals
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives
  • Drive new business while expanding existing strategic accounts
  • Act as a market expert, providing insights and competitive intelligence
  • Orchestrate internal teams to maximise customer outcomes and deal success
  • 15+ years in quota-carrying telecoms / broadband technology sales
  • Strong track record of winning Tier 1 deals in DACH
  • Deep understanding of value-based selling methodologies (MEDDIC, TAS, BANT)
  • Expertise in broadband technologies (PON, cloud platforms, CPE, CX solutions)
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Strategic mindset with strong leadership in matrix environments
