Job Summary

The Florida Panthers are seeking a driven, strategic, and results‑oriented leader to serve as Senior Manager or Director of Group Sales. This individual will lead the Group Sales team to achieve and exceed revenue goals across multiple verticals, build innovative programs that deepen community engagement, and expand the Panthers’ reach throughout South Florida. The role plays a critical part in connecting the game of hockey to new audiences through youth hockey initiatives, affinity‑based communities, corporate ticket packages, and large‑scale group experiences. The ideal candidate is a strong sales leader and creative thinker who can develop impactful programs while holding a team accountable to high performance standards.

Job Functions

  • Lead and execute the Group Sales strategy to drive revenue across:
    • Youth Hockey programs and associations
    • Affinity groups (schools, nonprofits, cultural organizations, alumni groups)
    • Corporate outings and hospitality experiences
    • Group concert sales and arena events
    • Theme nights and specialty ticket packages
  • Develop and implement innovative group products that align with organizational priorities and fan engagement goals
  • Forecast, track, and report on sales performance, ensuring alignment with overall ticketing and revenue targets
  • Collaborate with Ticket Sales, Premium Sales, and Service teams to maximize cross‑sell and upsell opportunities
  • Develop theme nights and ticket packages that resonate with targeted audiences and drive incremental revenue
  • Lead group sales strategies tied to concerts and non‑hockey events at Amerant Bank Arena
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Group Sales representatives and managers
  • Oversee the execution of group experiences to ensure a seamless and high‑quality game‑day experience

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in ticket sales, group sales, or sports/entertainment sales leadership
  • Proven track record of driving revenue and leading high‑performing sales teams
  • Strong understanding of group sales strategy, product development, and fan engagement
  • Experience working with youth sports organizations, community groups, and/or corporate clients preferred
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Data‑driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑demand environment

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

  • This is an exempt position. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
