Job Description
Associate Director, Audit and Assurance Services will be part of the SOX Project Management Organization. This role assists in developing SOX audit plans, coordinating with external auditors and Global Process Owners, supporting audit teams during fieldwork, reporting SOX audit findings to senior leaders, and assisting with non‑SOX audits.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the SOX audit plan and scoping reviews.
- Support audit teams during fieldwork and ensure consistent application of testing attributes.
- Maintain AuditBoard accuracy and reporting.
- Partner with SOX IT to evaluate control impacts of new systems.
- Discuss control changes and findings with Global Process Owners, Governance & Compliance leads, and PwC.
- Serve as liaison to PwC.
- Lead, coach and train a small audit team; provide technical guidance.
- Produce senior leadership reporting on deficiency trends and audit results.
- Lead initiatives to streamline testing and improve efficiencies.
- Participate in incident response and control impact assessments.
- Execute governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) audits and coach staff during audits.
Qualifications
Education
- BS/BA degree in accounting.
Required Experience
- 7+ years of technical accounting experience, preferably with a Big‑4 firm.
- Experience with Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance.
- Certified Public Accountant.
- Ability to cope with changing priorities and strict schedules.
- Air travel up to 25% of the time and domestic driving required.

Compensation
Salary range: $129,000.00 – $203,100.00. Eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive if applicable.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid work model: three days on‑site per week (Monday–Thursday) with Friday remote, unless critical tasks require on‑site presence. The model does not apply to field‑based, facility‑based, manufacturing‑based, research‑based, or remote‑designated positions.
Location
United States. Employees must be U.S. or Puerto Rico residents.
Travel
25% travel and domestic driving required.
