The organization operates across multiple geographies and is focused on scaling its presence in the Americas while strengthening its financial and operational infrastructure.
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Head of FP&A for the Americas to lead financial strategy, planning, and performance across a multi-billion-dollar regional P&L.
This is a highly visible leadership role partnering closely with executive leadership to drive financial performance, support strategic initiatives, and enhance decision‑making across a complex, multi‑entity environment. The role will be instrumental in building scalable FP&A processes and supporting integration and transformation efforts following a major acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive financial performance across a multi-billion-dollar Americas P&L
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning processes
- Provide visibility into financial performance, key drivers, and risks
Strategic Business Partnership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership
- Partner with commercial, operations, and supply chain teams to drive performance
- Translate financial data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders
Planning, Forecasting & Performance Management
- Lead annual planning, quarterly forecasts, and multi‑year strategic planning
- Develop robust financial models incorporating market and macro trends
- Establish KPIs and performance frameworks across the business
M&A, Integration & Transformation
- Support acquisition integration and portfolio optimization efforts
- Evaluate strategic investments and capital allocation decisions
- Drive transformation initiatives, including systems and process improvements
Systems, Reporting & Controls
- Oversee financial reporting and ensure alignment with global standards
- Enhance financial systems and analytics capabilities
- Maintain strong internal controls and compliance
Treasury & Cash Management
- Support liquidity planning and working capital optimization
- Drive improvements in cash flow and capital efficiency
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop a high‑performing FP&A organization
- Build scalable processes and a performance‑driven culture
- Partner with global teams to ensure alignment across regions
Candidate Profile
Experience & Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking
- Experience supporting or owning large‑scale P&L environments (ideally $1B+)
- Strong background in forecasting, modeling, and performance management
- Experience supporting M&A, integration, or transformation initiatives
- Exposure to global organizations and multi‑currency environments preferred
- Experience with ERP and planning tools (e.g., SAP, OneStream, or similar)
Preferred Background
- Investment banking or transaction advisory experience
- Industrial, manufacturing, or complex operating environments
- Experience in cyclical or multi‑site businesses
