Overview
Our client, a non-profit organization, is seeking a Finance Director . This organization prides itself on its collaborative environment and great work/life balance. Amazing benefits include 401K with matching. This position is hybrid and based 4 out of 5 days per week at their beautiful office in Downtown Manhattan .
Responsibilities
- Direct and plan all accounting operations
- Research, recommend, and build out internal financial policies and processes
- Prepare financial statements and coordinate audits
- Manage financial product vendor relationships and track purchase orders
- Research and recommend financial policies and processes
- Oversee tax planning, return preparation, compliance and regulatory reporting
- Analyze complex financial reports to provide recommendations to management with precision
- Manage the budget process and monthly, quarterly, year-end closings
- Salary: $180-200k annually, based on experience

Skills and Qualifications
- 7+ years experience, including accounting and audit experience
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Finance or Accounting
- Deep knowledge of Excel and data analytics
- Proven leadership skills
