Overview
Homestead Resort is in the midst of a full‑scale transformation, making this a unique opportunity for a Director of Finance who thrives in a dynamic, evolving environment. With a multi‑year renovation underway and a phased reopening through 2027, this role will play a key part in shaping the financial strategy of a reimagined, mixed‑use resort.
Qualifications
- Lead and oversee all financial operations for a complex, mixed‑use resort environment
- Develop and execute financial strategies that support a phased reopening and long‑term growth
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across multiple revenue streams, including rooms, amenities, and residential components
- Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and ownership expectations
- Partner closely with leadership to provide insights that guide strategic decisions during redevelopment
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams as new amenities and offerings come online
- Lead and develop a small, collaborative finance team (Accounting Manager and AP support)
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Director of Finance or senior finance leader within hospitality
- Background in complex resort environments, ideally with mixed‑use or multi‑revenue stream operations
- Strong understanding of full‑service resort operations, including varied room types and amenities
- Experience navigating renovation, repositioning, or phased openings is highly valued
- Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in an evolving environment
- Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a team
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders
