Job Title: Director of Finance, FP&A (Special Chemicals & Ingredients)

Reporting to: Vice President of Finance

Location: Danbury, CT / Shelbyville, KY / Mississauga, CAN

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic, growth-oriented Director of Finance, FP&A, to join our Finance leadership team. This is a high-impact role for a strategic finance leader with strong business acumen and people leadership skills, who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Direct the entire Planning cycle (Strategy, Forecast, Budget) for the SCI business unit.
  • Design, manage, and analyze annual and long‑term plans; deliver financial forecasts and analysis.
  • Oversee and manage continued development of budgeting, forecasting, planning, and modeling tools.
  • Establish and drive execution of FP&A framework, standards, and processes; provide financial leadership at corporate and operational levels.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests and produce accurate, timely financial reports and analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop performance measurement framework and KPIs to track and monitor performance.
  • Identify and assess the financial impact of opportunities and risks, develop mitigation strategies.
  • Deliver a business financial package communicating results in a standard, easy‑to‑understand format for management and senior leadership audiences.
  • Provide finance support for strategic analysis, competitive analysis, pricing strategies, customer profitability, and sales performance.
  • Manage and develop a team of three managers to deliver strong financial performance and establish strong business partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience managing a team to deliver high-quality financial analysis and services in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated success as a strategic leader fostering continuous improvement and excellence during change.
  • Experience building organizational capabilities within your team and the broader organization.
  • Extensive knowledge in budgeting, forecasting, multi‑year strategic planning, modeling, and tool development; multi‑currency experience an asset.
  • Strong ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self‑motivated, curious, strong desire to make an impact.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Education: CPA or MBA.

Location and Travel Requirements

Travel approximately 10‑15%, pending business needs. Hybrid role: 3 days in office, subject to change based on business needs.
