Director of Accounting, FP&A & Business Systems
About the Role
We’re looking for a hands‑on finance leader to own accounting, financial planning, and our ERP system. This role will drive financial accuracy, improve margins, and help leadership make smarter, data‑driven decisions.
You’ll work closely with the CFO and partner across sales, marketing, and operations to improve performance across the business.
Location: On‑site in Glendale, WI
Reports to: CFO
What You’ll Do
Own Financial Accuracy & Controls
- Ensure accurate financials (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Lead audits, tax, and compliance
- Oversee inventory accounting
- Lead budgeting and forecasting
- Build and manage KPI dashboards (sales, margins, cost per case, etc.)
- Analyze performance and recommend actions
- Support pricing and investment decisions
Improve Cost & Profitability (Key Focus)
- Manage cost accounting and product‑level profitability
- Analyze costs across materials, labor, and operations
- Identify and drive cost savings opportunities
- Partner with operations to improve efficiency and reduce waste
Own Our ERP System (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central)
- Act as the internal owner of our ERP system
- Ensure clean, accurate data across finance and operations
- Improve processes, reporting, and system usage
- Partner with IT and external consultants as needed
Manage Cash Flow & Working Capital
- Forecast cash flow and support financial planning
- Improve inventory, receivables, and payables management
Lead & Partner Across the Business
- Lead and develop the finance/accounting team
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to drive performance
- Help build a high‑accountability, performance‑driven culture
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA (active or in progress)
- 10+ years of experience in accounting, FP&A, and cost accounting
- Experience in manufacturing, CPG, or beverage strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of inventory and cost accounting
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment
