In-person Growth Marketing Lead

We’re Wally, a fast-growing start-up building the future of dental care — giving the power back to patients and clinicians. We are uprooting the dental industry with innovative Swiss technology, unlimited cleanings and whitening, and affordable memberships. The result: No more getting drilled by a dentist again.

We're expanding rapidly through key real‑estate partnerships, scaling from 8 to 100+ locations over the next 18 months. Member growth is the engine behind that scale — and this role is at the center of it.

The Role

We're looking for a scrappy, high‑energy growth marketer who thrives IRL. You won't be running ads from a laptop — you'll be out in the world, showing up in our physical spaces, building relationships with real‑estate partners, and turning foot traffic into loyal Wally members.

This is a ground‑floor opportunity to own and build our in‑person growth playbook from scratch. As we scale, so will your scope, your team, and your impact.

What You’ll Do

Drive Local Member Acquisition

  • Execute grassroots and experiential marketing activations in and around Wally studio locations
  • Build and manage relationships with co‑working spaces, local businesses, and community partners to generate referral traffic
  • Capture demand in new markets pre‑and post‑launch, converting curious passersby into booked members

Own the IRL Playbook

  • Develop repeatable, scalable processes for in‑person marketing that can be rolled out to 100+ locations across different cities.
  • Test new acquisition channels (pop‑ups, events, partnerships, street‑level campaigns) and document what works
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to co‑create tools and workflows that help field marketing scale efficiently

Be the Face of Wally in the Market

  • Serve as a brand ambassador — warm, knowledgeable, and energizing to interact with
  • Handle front‑line member interactions, filling last‑minute appointment slots and turning fence‑sitters into converts
  • Collect real‑world feedback and surface insights to the Product, Marketing, and Clinical Operations teams

Collaborate Cross‑Functionally

  • Partner with Studio Operations and Clinical teams to align marketing activity with location readiness and capacity
  • Work closely with the Head of Growth, Content and Community Coordinator, and CEO to prioritize markets and fine‑tune the growth strategy

Who You Are

  • 2–4 years of experience in growth marketing, field marketing, brand ambassador programs, or a related role
  • You've marketed in the real world — events, retail, pop‑ups, community outreach — not just behind a screen
  • Comfortable in a startup environment: you figure things out, move fast, and don't wait to be told what to do
  • Natural people person — you light up a room, make strangers feel like regulars, and know how to close
  • Data‑curious: you track what you try, learn from it, and iterate
  • Experience in D2C, hospitality, fitness, wellness, or consumer health is a plus
  • Willing and able to be physically present in key markets (NYC) on a regular basis
