Position: Wellness Director - Cardinal Landing Memory Care

Schedule: 3 weekdays, 1 weekend and on call 8:30am- 6:30pm

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Service Director. The Resident Service Director oversees the overall care and well‑being of residents in the senior living community. This role is responsible for managing the health services team, ensuring quality care standards, compliance with state regulations, and promoting a wellness‑focused environment that supports resident independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Essential Duties

  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of resident care services.
  • Manage and schedule the wellness team including nurses, aides, and care associates, ensuring proper staffing, training, and performance.
  • Verify proper completion of health assessments for new residents and create individualized care plans.
  • Monitor resident health status and care needs, making updates to care plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians, families, and other healthcare providers.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and community policies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
  • Lead regular care plan reviews and participate in resident/family care conferences.
  • Develop and implement wellness programs and initiatives to promote healthy aging.
  • Provide training, coaching, and development for care staff.
  • Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and medical professionals.

Work Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare setting; senior living, geriatric or Memory Care experience preferred.
  • Prior management or supervisory experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of state regulations for assisted living or memory care.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
