Overview
Director of Procurement - Strategy and Transformation
Location: Multiple Locations
Responsibilities
- Implements a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the bank's business goals, regulatory requirements, and cost-optimization priorities.
- Leads enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives across various business lines and spend categories.
- Manages procurement policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency, transparency and compliance.
- Oversees the vendor selection and competitive bidding process to ensure due diligence, ethical standards, and best-value outcomes.
- Partners with Third-Party Risk Management, Compliance, Information Security and Legal Teams to ensure vendor risk assessments, ongoing monitoring, and regulatory expectations are met.
- Assists in contract negotiations to secure favorable terms.
- Develops and implements category management strategies to reduce costs, consolidate supplies, and optimize spend.
- Monitors procurement budgets, reporting, and forecasting; identify and deliver measurable cost-saving initiatives.
- Provides executive-level reporting, dashboards, and insights on procurement performance and vendor spend.
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance governance, efficiency, and transparency.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or related field, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience are required.
- Minimum of 5 years procurement, sourcing, vendor management, or supply chain experience required.
- Experience working in a regulated financial institution or large corporate environment preferred.
- Supervisory experience or leadership skills preferred.

- Location: This position is hybrid. The employee is split between remote and office work on a formalized schedule. Consideration for location will be Bank Plaza - Wheeling, WV and Wexford - Wexford, PA.
