We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Fixed Operations Director to lead our Service and Parts departments. Position Summary
This is a key leadership role with direct responsibility for managing daily operations in both the Service and Parts departments. This position requires a hands-on leader who is actively engaged in service drive operations, technician support, and team development — not just oversight from behind a desk.
The ideal candidate will bring structure, accountability, and operational discipline while fostering a positive, customer-focused culture.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all aspects of the Service and Parts departments
Actively engage in daily service operations and workflow management
Drive department profitability through strategic planning and operational execution
Monitor and analyze KPIs including ELR, hours per RO, CSI, technician productivity, and parts gross
Identify and implement process improvements to improve efficiency and customer experience
Recruit, train, and coach service advisors, technicians, and parts personnel
Develop and execute fixed operations strategy and performance goals
Ensure adherence to manufacturer standards, warranty procedures, and safety regulations
Foster a high-performing, team-oriented environment focused on accountability and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
5+ years of dealership service or fixed operations leadership experience
Proven track record of improving performance and profitability
Hands-on leadership style with strong operational focus
Experience building processes and improving team accountability
Familiarity with Tekion or modern DMS platforms (Tekion experience preferred)
Strong communication and leadership skills
ASE or OEM certifications a plus
