Family Office Tax Director (Sports & Entertainment)

A fast-growing Multi-Family Office with a specialization in the Entertainment Industry, is looking for a Head of Tax / Tax Director. They are looking for the right leader to join the team. This role is a great fit for those of you working in public accounting, business management, or family office who want a better work life balance, more autonomy, and an opportunity to lead a tax department.
- You will be tasked with managing the tax client roster (HNW Entertainers, Professional Athletes, and their businesses) along with managing and building the internal team and function.
- Key responsibilities include tax planning, research, consulting, advising, compliance, estimates, and projections.
- You will work 40-50 hours per week the entire year. This is not a heavy OT role. This role is focused more on quality service and managng workflow rather than quantity and high-volume.
- Experience with California clients and tax law is preferred.
- You will report to the CEO and will be a trusted member of the Leadership Team.
- A CPA, LLM in Tax, and/or MST is required.
