Job Description
Ensure effective and efficient operation of the Quality and Compliance for an Agency working with individuals with developmental disabilities and youth at-risk. Responsible for the development and implementation of quality assurance initiatives and programs to improve Agency quality of service. The Associate Executive Director of Quality and Compliance will oversee: the Quality Assurance team, Nursing, Behavioral and Electronic Health Records.
Education / Experience
2 years experience of program administration and supervision required. BA in Education, Psychology, Social Work or related field required, Masters preferred. Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities or at risk youth required.
Job Tasks
- Responsible for the implementation of the CAU Quality Assurance System within the organization.
- Responsible for the oversight of the DDD and DCP&P State Licensing Inspection Process including staff and member training, program reviews, plans of correction.
- Responsible for the overall implementation of a National Accreditation Plan for CAU Programs and Services. This plan includes CARF.
- Responsible to ensure the maintenance of excellence over time via monitoring and best practices through advanced planned announced and unannounced periodic inspections and sampling.
- Coordinate the annual revision, distribution, and training of the DDD and DCP&P member/family handbooks.
- Troubleshoot program service delivery issues to develop and implement plans of correction as assigned.
- Assume supervisory role and take immediate action to address any issue negatively affecting the quality of programs.
- Cooperate with Agency and or funding source staff in any inspection or investigation.
- Chair the Incident Review Committee, as well as participate in trend analysis and incident prevention recommendations
- Keep abreast of national best practices
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Valid driver's license
- Car to use for work purposes
