Senior Gen AI Engineer

What you will bring

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, ML engineering, or AI development
  • 2+ years of Generative AI application development experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing enterprise-scale AI agent systems
  • Experience architecting RAG solutions with advanced and complex retrieval strategies
  • Experience working with image analysis and visual reasoning models
  • Deep understanding of LLM evaluation, testing, and quality assurance methodologies
  • Experience implementing responsible AI practices, including safety, bias mitigation, and governance
  • Strong system design and architectural skills
  • Experience developing cloud-native applications on Azure or AWS
  • Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership

Key Responsibilities

  • Development and Integration: Design, develop, and integrate solutions using Azure services, including Logic Apps, Function Apps, App Services, Blob Storage, and CosmosDB.
  • GenAI Application Development: Utilize your experience with GenAI to implement chunking, embedding, and prompt engineering techniques leveraging OpenAI models such as GPT-4.
  • Tooling Proficiency: Employ tools such as Visual Studio Code for effective development and ensure seamless deployment of services using Bitbucket and Azure.
  • Coding Expertise: Write clean, maintainable code in Python, ensuring functionality and performance in the development of applications.
  • Collaborative Solution Development: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify needs and deliver tailored solutions that meet organizational goals.
  • Manage Identities: If applicable, leverage experience with managed identities for secure Azure service interaction.

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $105,000 - $135,000.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
