Food Service Director (Full-Time, Year-Round)

Blue Mountain Christian Retreat & Conference Center – New Ringgold, PA

Blue Mountain Christian Retreat & Conference Center is seeking a Food Service Director to lead our kitchen operations and serve as a vital part of our ministry. This role is more than food service—it’s an opportunity to help create an environment where guests can encounter the Lord through hospitality, excellence, and care.

We are looking for a strong leader with food service experience and a heart to serve others in a Christ-centered setting.

What You’ll Do

• Lead all kitchen operations including menu planning, meal preparation, and service
• Prepare and oversee meals for groups of up to 400 guests
• Recruit, train, schedule, and develop kitchen staff
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and organization (HACCP)
• Manage food ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships
• Work closely with other departments to ensure an excellent guest experience
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of food service experience
• Prior leadership/management experience required
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• ServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
