Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned D365 F&O Senior Functional Consultant – Finance to lead Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations enabled transformation projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding client businesses, modeling their processes within D365 F&O, and delivering high-value solutions using the platform's capabilities.
This role involves leading end-to-end implementations, designing comprehensive solutions, and contributing to the development of internal tools, processes, and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Finance Lead on D365 F&O transformation projects.
- Understand client business processes and map them effectively to D365 F&O capabilities.
- Lead and manage full-cycle implementations in Finance or Operations modules.
- Design and implement end-to-end D365 F&O solutions, applying industry best practices.
- Conduct workshops with key stakeholders to gather requirements and present solutions.
- Develop business requirement documentation and design specifications.
- Contribute to the development of internal assets, tools, and delivery processes.
- Evaluate and select software and ISVs to complement implementation needs.
- Stay current with the latest platform versions and continuously update technical skills.
- 8+ years of relevant consulting experience in professional services, either in large consulting firms, boutique consultancies, or as an internal consultant.
- 3+ years of experience with MS Dynamics 365 AX/D365 F&O.
- 3 or more full life cycle implementations in Finance or Operations.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience in finance modules within D365.
- Proven experience creating business requirement and design documentation.
- Experience leading workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
- Exposure to pre-sales or solution architecture roles.
- Experience mentoring junior consultants or team members.
- Background in a variety of industries using D365 F&O.
