Job description

The BPO Business Development Executive at Wipro Technologies-USA serves as a cornerstone in expanding our Business Process Services (BPS) footprint, contributing directly to the company’s ambitious growth trajectory. This role engages deeply with the sales lifecycle encompassing the identification, cultivation, negotiation, and closure of new business opportunities across multiple verticals including Transformation, HR, Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Customer Service outsourcing solutions. Working closely within the HiTech industry, you will be tasked with pioneering strategic sales campaigns that leverage industry knowledge and an established network of C-level contacts to secure multimillion-dollar agreements. You will tailor value-driven propositions aligned with client objectives and market trends, acting as an ambassador of Wipro’s values and capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, data-informed sales strategies that surpass revenue objectives and increase market penetration within targeted segments.
  • Manage end-to-end sales processes from lead generation through contract finalization and ensure high standards of client engagement and service delivery post-sale.
  • Facilitate complex negotiations with C-suite executives and key decision-makers, handling pricing structures and contractual terms to achieve win-win outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical experts, solution architects, global delivery units) to craft compelling proposals that highlight competitive differentiators.
  • Monitor sales pipeline and forecast accurately to provide actionable insights to senior leadership and adjust sales tactics proactively.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer obsession to support Wipro’s leadership in BPS.

This is a dynamic and highly visible role requiring a strategic thinker, persuasive communicator, and results-oriented professional passionate about transformative business process solutions.

Experience, Competencies, and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in consultative sales roles within the BPO landscape, especially in Finance & Accounting, HR, Supply Chain Management, Customer Experience, Knowledge Services, Global Business Services Shared Services, and Intelligent Automation.
  • Proven track record of closing significant deals and establishing enduring relationships with senior executives and stakeholders in the HiTech industry, preferably in the Pacific Northwest region.
  • Deep knowledge of outsourced service delivery models, including best practices in sales pursuit, proposal management, and contract lifecycle management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft and deliver compelling presentations supported by quantitative business cases and industry insights.
  • Strong leadership skills to operate effectively in a complex matrixed environment, driving cross-functional collaboration for maximum impact.
  • High strategic business acumen with foresight to identify emerging market needs and innovate customer-centric solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Willingness to undertake up to 35% travel for client engagement and strategic account development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or related disciplines; MBA or specialized technical certifications are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $150,000 to $210,000. Standard benefits include medical and dental options, disability insurance, paid time off (including sick leave), and other leave options.
