Delta Diablo is looking for an exceptionally talented and motivated Resource Recovery Services Director (Operations Director) who will utilize excellent critical thinking skills, judgment, initiative, and situational, risk-based decision-making abilities based on relevant work experience to effectively lead and manage a broad range of operations, maintenance, laboratory, and safety responsibilities and initiatives.
If you have excellent technical skills, a strategic perspective, an understanding of wastewater treatment processes, strong oral and written communication skills, and a continuous improvement focus to drive sustained organizational excellence, while effectively adapting to and managing new challenges and unforeseen issues, this is the job for you!

This position requires a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in civil, chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering, chemistry, biology, or a related field from an accredited college or university. A master's degree in these areas or business/public administration is desirable.
Requires ten years of progressively more responsible experience in facility operations, maintenance, and/or engineering, including five years of supervisory experience (at a public agency is desirable) or three years of management experience.
Salary: $229,266.36 - 278,674.68 per year
