VP Sales – IT Staffing/SOW projects

Overview

We are looking for a highly driven and motivated VP of Sales for our Staffing and SOW projects services. The role requires 50% hands on sales responsibilities and 50% building and managing teams. USTECH delivers IT services from a global model, with focus areas including Application outsourcing, Digitalization, Mobile technologies, AI/Machine Learning and QA services.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage solutions practices within a specific focus area.
  • Sell to new and existing clients, manage accounts, and work with current and potential clients to build successful relationships.
  • Manage large strategic client relationships to cross-sell, solution, and deliver SOW solutions.
  • Develop weekly and monthly delivery targets based on well-defined objectives and achieve them.
  • Lead and engage with senior technology leaders (e.g., CIOs, VPs, and other stakeholders).
  • Forecast and target prospective opportunities with appropriate sales strategies.
  • Work with RFP/proposal teams to draft effective responses for bids.
  • Drive data-driven outcomes and maintain detailed documentation of the entire sales cycle (HubSpot CRM).
  • Hire and develop high-performing sales and SOW delivery teams and motivate the team by example.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and deliver IT services across technologies and verticals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10-12 years of industry experience in IT services, with extensive sales, solutioning, and client engagement experience.
  • Experience selling and leading sales teams in IT services across technologies and verticals, with global operations exposure.
  • Strong analytical skills, metrics-driven, and ability to manage multiple accounts at a national level.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, client engagement, and team management skills.
  • Hands-on leader capable of motivating teams and leading by example.
  • Strong industry relationships and deep understanding of the technology ecosystem.
  • Experience with SOW solutions in a T&M, fixed bid, or hybrid global model; ability to deliver both sales and delivery of SOW solutions.
  • Proficiency in solutioning for various domains and technical skills; experience with public speaking and client presentations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture focused on outcomes and results.
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or other STEM field.
