Multifamily Superintendent

Overview

The Multifamily Superintendent will serve as the on-site construction lead for a 75-unit, mixed-use multifamily project, overseeing day-to-day field operations through project completion. This individual will work closely with an experienced Project Manager to deliver a high-quality project and have the opportunity to transition into future projects within the company's robust North Jersey pipeline.

Description

• Site Management: Act as the on-site Superintendent overseeing daily construction activities for a 75-unit, two-building multifamily project with 10,000 SF of ground-floor retail
• Schedule management: Coordinate, schedule, and manage subcontractors, inspections, and material deliveries
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, safety standards, and local building codes
• Quality Control: Conduct daily site walks and proactively identify and resolve construction issues
• Documentation: Assist with punch list completion, inspections, and turnover activities as the project approaches completion
• Team Leadership: Provide consistent field leadership during a critical transition period due to senior superintendent absences

Profile

• 2-5 years of experience as a Superintendent on multifamily construction projects
• Strong experience with wood-frame, interior multifamily construction (ground-up experience not strictly required)
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics effectively
• Hands-on, organized, and dependable with the ability to step into an active project quickly
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to support collaboration with an experienced PM
• Seeking a stable, long-term role with a growing company and repeat work across New Jersey

Job Offer

• Competitive Base Salary: up to 150K (commensurate with experience)
• Vehicle Allowance: $500 per month
