We're Hiring: Director of Site Quality | Hopewell, VA

Are you a quality leader with deep experience in GMP environments and a passion for operational excellence?

Our client, an ambitious and mission-driven pharmaceutical manufacturer, is seeking a Director of Site Quality to lead quality operations at a key U.S. facility based in Hopewell, Virginia .

This is a high-impact leadership role with oversight of manufacturing, development, and warehousing operations at a dynamic site focused on reshaping pharmaceutical production standards.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead all quality operations for the site, ensuring compliance with cGMP and FDA standards
• Oversee inspection readiness and be the point of contact for audits and regulatory reviews
• Drive quality culture, oversee batch release, and manage quality systems (CAPA, Deviations, Change Control)
• Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, MS&T, and third-party partners
• Review and approve validation protocols and documentation
• Implement site-wide quality metrics and continuous improvement initiatives
• 15+ years in Quality Operations within pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing, ideally with API or sterile product experience
• Strong knowledge of GxP regulations and electronic quality systems (EDMS, QMS, LMS)
• Proven leadership in commissioning/qualification of new equipment or facilities
• Excellent communication, audit readiness, and cross-functional team skills
