We have acquired or developed approximately 11 gigawatts of contracted capacity across a portfolio of over 70 renewable energy projects in 24 states.

About The Role DESRI seeks a talented and highly motivated associate or associate director (title and compensation commensurate with experience) to work on strategy, analysis, new market identification, M&A and financing transactions and support for all aspects of DESRI’s business.

What You'll Do

• Build and review financial models to support management investment decisions, focusing on project returns, capital structure optimization, risk identification and upside, and presenting analytical findings clearly.
• Lead due diligence and manage third-party deliverables through deal processes.
• Support transaction leads on negotiating definitive documentation for debt and tax equity financings, acquisitions, and opportunistic sales across new projects and DESRI’s portfolio (development, under construction, or in operation).

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree and at least two years of experience (Associate), with modeling capabilities, preferably in Excel.
• Record of academic and professional achievement, strong communication, ability to collaborate in a small team, organizational acumen across multiple projects, and high motivation.
• Demonstrated interest in and experience with renewable energy projects and/or electricity markets in the United States is preferred.
• Salary range: base $100,000 - $160,000. Compensation includes variable year-end bonus (guaranteed in first year) and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, wellness reimbursement, family building benefits, and a charitable gift match program.
