Quality Director – Personal Care Products Manufacturing – Dallas/Fort Worth Area (Garland, TX; Austin, TX)

Position Overview

The Quality Director will lead the quality division during a pivotal growth phase. This role is ideal for a seasoned leader with expertise in beauty, personal care, or OTC manufacturing, responsible for managing FDA and client‑facing audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main liaison for FDA and client audits, steering audit readiness and addressing issues.
• Lead QA and QC teams, fostering an environment of continuous growth and accountability.
• Seamlessly integrate quality into new product launches by collaborating with R&D and Operations.
• Implement and enhance quality systems that comply with cGMP, FDA, and ISO standards.
• Swiftly address quality concerns, driving validation processes efficiently.
• Provide production teams with actionable insights from quality assessments.
• Guide the team through growth, applying a balanced approach to structure and agility.
• Maintain GMP‑compliant processes for excellent audit preparedness.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience working for a personal care contract manufacturer.
• Ability to lead teams effectively, managing and inspiring them through various challenges.
• Deep understanding of FDA regulations and quality standards, with proven audit management success and experience in managing and resolving compliance issues.
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering field; advanced certifications are a plus.
• 6+ years in quality management, particularly within contract manufacturing or OTC.
• Strong leadership skills, adept in communication, problem‑solving, and guiding teams through growth.
• Experience in documentation control, with expertise in root cause analysis.
• Capable of managing multiple projects, showcasing excellent organizational skills.
