TheDirector of ScholarshipOutreach & TrainingLeadis a hands-on, field-facing role for someone who has directly supported high school seniors through FAFSA/state aid and privatescholarshipapplications. You will build partnerships and deliver training — and you will also work alongside advisors, students, and families to increase completed applications,scholarshipwins, and affordability decisions.

This role is for a doer who can teach, coach, and execute — not just oversee.

Required Experience (Please read before applying)

To be considered, you must have:

  • Direct experience supportinghigh school seniors throughat least 2 FAFSA cycles (completion + follow-up; verification exposure preferred)
  • Experience supportingprivatescholarshipapplications (essay/resume support, application strategy, submission tracking, follow-up)
  • Experience facilitating trainings/workshops for students, parents, counselors, or advisors
  • Comfort doing outreach and relationship-building with schools and community organizations — and following through

What You’ll Do

Outreach & Partnerships (Earned Revenue)

  • Build and steward partnerships with schools, districts, and community-based organizations across Georgia
  • Convert partner needs into clear service plans (e.g.,scholarshipboot camps, financial aid labs, office hours)
  • Ensure partnerships have shared accountability for student-level outcomes (applications completed, dollars won, affordability decisions supported)
  • Support seniors and advisors with FAFSA/state aid completion and common barriers (documentation, follow-up steps, verification workflows when applicable)
  • Coach students through privatescholarshipstrategy, applications, essays, and tracking
  • Help partners implement consistent senior-yearscholarshipand affordability workflows

Training & Capacity Building

  • Lead a Train-the-Trainer approach for counselors/advisors and CBO staff
  • Design and facilitate quarterly training sessions that equip partners with tools, templates, and repeatable workflows
  • Provide follow-up coaching and technical assistance so partner capacity grows over time (not just one-time events)

Outcomes & Systems

  • Use TSA’s internal platform and reporting tools to monitor progress and outcomes
  • Track what’s working, document processes, and improve delivery over time

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years in financial aid advising/college access work with seniors
  • Experience running FAFSA completion events andscholarshipworkshops
  • Strong data habits (tracking, follow-up, continuous improvement)
