Director of Infection Prevention

DIRECTOR INFECTION PREVENTION – LAS VEGAS, NEVADA

WEBCO HR, Inc. is seeking a Director of Infection Prevention for one of our clients located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Base Pay Range

$107,400.00/yr – $142,300.00/yr

RESPONSIBILITIES

Directs the facility Infection Prevention (IP) and Control programs. Assesses regulatory compliance and ongoing IP readiness. Oversees clinical IP programs while promoting patient safety. Assesses reporting compliance with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), state and local reporting agencies, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) standard surveillance definitions. Oversees IP surveillance and the collection, analysis and reporting of IP data.

REQUIREMENTS

• Master's in Nursing, Education, Epidemiology, Public Health, clinical Microbiology or other health related disciplines.
• Three (3) to five (5) years clinical experience in health-related field required.
• Two (2) years of experience in Infection Prevention or epidemiology Leadership role required.
• Current national certification in Infection Control (CIC).

COMPENSATION

• $107,400 – $142,300 annually.
