BCforward is seeking a highly motivated Product Designer for a Seattle, WA position (Hybrid – 3 days onsite).

Anticipated Start Date: 12/16/2025 (target, subject to change)

Expected Duration: 5 months

Job Type: Contract – Full Time (40 hours per week)

Job Description: We are seeking a talented Product Designer with 4–8 years of experience in UX/UI design, exceptional visual craftsmanship, strong prototyping skills, and fluency in AI concepts. This role will lead complex design initiatives for Client AI, focusing on wearable devices and multimodal experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex design projects from concept to delivery, working effectively in ambiguous environments.
  • Deliver features that enable Client AI to understand and respond to individual user needs and preferences, leveraging wearable devices.
  • Design for AI across modalities including wearable screens, voice, and spatial interfaces.
  • Create deeply user-centered experiences by addressing well-understood user needs.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to frame product opportunities and drive features through development.
  • Develop scalable systems and design patterns to enable other feature teams to integrate seamlessly into Client AI.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver complex, end‑to‑end design projects for Client AI wearables, including Ray‑Ban Client.
  • Define high‑level concepts and develop detailed specs to guide design and development.
  • Design user experiences across wearable screens, voice, and spatial interfaces.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including UXR, to frame features and evaluate solutions.
  • Develop scalable systems and design patterns for broader team integration.

Qualifications

  • 4–8 years of professional experience in UX/UI design.
  • Exceptional visual design skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated fluency in AI concepts and their application to user experiences.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and work effectively in ambiguous situations.
  • Strong interaction and visual design portfolio.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially with cross‑functional teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience designing for wearable devices or emerging technologies.
  • Familiarity with scalable design systems and pattern libraries.
  • Ability to translate user research and data into actionable design solutions.
  • Strong communication and conversational design skills.

Minimum Years of Experience: 4‑8.
