BCforward is seeking a highly motivated Product Designer for a Seattle, WA position (Hybrid – 3 days onsite).

Expected Duration: 5 months
Job Type: Contract – Full Time (40 hours per week)
Job Description: We are seeking a talented Product Designer with 4–8 years of experience in UX/UI design, exceptional visual craftsmanship, strong prototyping skills, and fluency in AI concepts. This role will lead complex design initiatives for Client AI, focusing on wearable devices and multimodal experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex design projects from concept to delivery, working effectively in ambiguous environments.
- Deliver features that enable Client AI to understand and respond to individual user needs and preferences, leveraging wearable devices.
- Design for AI across modalities including wearable screens, voice, and spatial interfaces.
- Create deeply user-centered experiences by addressing well-understood user needs.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to frame product opportunities and drive features through development.
- Develop scalable systems and design patterns to enable other feature teams to integrate seamlessly into Client AI.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver complex, end‑to‑end design projects for Client AI wearables, including Ray‑Ban Client.
- Define high‑level concepts and develop detailed specs to guide design and development.
- Design user experiences across wearable screens, voice, and spatial interfaces.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including UXR, to frame features and evaluate solutions.
- Develop scalable systems and design patterns for broader team integration.
Qualifications
- 4–8 years of professional experience in UX/UI design.
- Exceptional visual design skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated fluency in AI concepts and their application to user experiences.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects and work effectively in ambiguous situations.
- Strong interaction and visual design portfolio.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially with cross‑functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience designing for wearable devices or emerging technologies.
- Familiarity with scalable design systems and pattern libraries.
- Ability to translate user research and data into actionable design solutions.
- Strong communication and conversational design skills.
Minimum Years of Experience: 4‑8.
