Shirley Parsons is working with a maritime solutions company focusing on ocean engineering who are looking for a Sr. Director of QHSE to their team. We seek a candidate with demonstrated maritime industry experience to support operations and ensure compliance with relevant standards. This person will provide high‑level direction and governance for worldwide Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives.

Base pay range

$160,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

Role

• Guide and shape the organization’s worldwide QHSE framework, establishing direction, standards, and initiatives that support overall business goals.
• Collaborate with organizational leadership to embed QHSE practices into routine workflows and broader strategic initiatives.
• Maintain full preparedness for third‑party audits, inspections, certification processes, and regulatory evaluations.
• Direct, support, and cultivate a strong QHSE team operating across diverse regions and facilities.

Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Quality Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Expertise in ISO standards (9001, 14001, and 45001) and global regulatory frameworks (CE, COLREGS, IMO).
• 10+ years of safety experience and 5+ years in a senior leadership role ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Excellent communication across all levels orgulho and a deep commercial insight paired with the capability to shape decisions among senior leadership.
• Background and knowledge in maritime operations required.
