We are seeking a highly skilled, passionate, and dynamic Permanent Director of Banquets to join our team. This role involves overseeing all aspects of our banquet operations, from planning to execution, ensuring that every event is a resounding success. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of operations experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities
- Overseeing all banquet operations, including the planning, organizing, and execution of all banquet events.
- Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and developing tailored banquet plans to meet and exceed their expectations.
- Managing and leading a team of banquet staff, providing them with the necessary training and support to ensure they deliver exceptional service at all times.
- Developing and managing the banquet budget, ensuring that all operations are cost‑effective and within budget.
- Working closely with the culinary team to develop and implement innovative and delicious menus for all banquet events.
- Ensuring that all banquet facilities are well‑maintained, clean, and safe, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Continually seeking opportunities to improve our banquet operations, implementing new processes and technologies as necessary.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2‑3 years of banquet or F&B experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- A degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and exceed their expectations.
- Strong financial management skills, with experience in budgeting and cost control.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and make effective decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
