Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH, for an Acquisitions Subject Matter Expert. The role involves providing expert guidance on acquisition processes, advising stakeholders on procurement strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies. Responsibilities include conducting market research, preparing acquisition documentation, evaluating vendor proposals, and supporting contract negotiations. The Acquisitions SME will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and deliver effective procurement solutions in alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in acquisition policies, procurement processes, and contract management
- Proficiency in market research, vendor analysis, and proposal evaluation
- Experience in developing acquisition strategies and preparing necessary documentation
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Proficiency with relevant acquisition tools, systems, and software
- Ability to work on-site at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or a related field
- Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and other regulatory compliance standards
- Experience working on Department of Defense (DoD) or federal contracts is preferred
- Effective problem-solving and organizational skills to manage competing priorities
