Overview
The Regional Program Director oversees replication and operation of the CEO vocational model across multiple sites, including hiring and developing high‑performing local program leadership and ensuring achievement of program performance goals, adherence to the vocational budget, and compliance with performance‑based contracts. The Director collaborates with Social Enterprise leadership to support participants through transitional job training and workforce development, and works with Program Support teams to cultivate funding partners, improve learning and program quality, and collaborate on system and process improvements.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of demonstrated leadership and program management experience within a mission‑driven organization.
- Proficient in leading direct and indirect reports to meet performance‑based goals.
- Proficient in leading teams to collect, analyze, and apply data to drive program strategy and decision‑making.
- Proficiency with technology, including Google Suite and Salesforce.
- Strong communication, advisory, and negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders of all levels.
- Strong coaching ability, supporting others in identifying development areas and navigating solutions, motivating action.
- Organizational and management skills that effectively juggle multiple team and organization‑wide priorities.
- Respect, fairness, patience and efficiency with participants, employees and others to problem‑solve and satisfy needs.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems, and implement appropriate actions.
- Works effectively under pressure and at a sustained pace, maintaining focus on objectives.
- Dedicated to personal, team, and organizational goals through time management, data analysis, focused communication, teamwork, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to vocational operations at multiple sites, ensuring fidelity of the CEO vocational model and building capacity at each office.
- Partner with local leadership to set and achieve impactful, measurable annual goals for vocational programming.
- Ensure program outcomes align with annual goals and multi‑site grant agreements, including accurate tracking and support for reporting.
- Oversee local management of site budgets, including SNAP and performance‑based outcomes, staff costs, and vocational OTPS.
- Cultivate a culture of performance management through data review and accountability.
- Lead problem‑solving across the region, coaching staff to address performance challenges and drive continuous service quality.
- Maintain ethical program operations in line with CEO mission and values.
- Implement and monitor program improvement processes for under‑performance areas.
- Support CEO’s investment and fundraising teams to create site‑specific business and fund‑development strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with referral partners, state‑level re‑entry task forces, workforce boards, and local organizations providing complementary services.
- Hire, train, and develop high‑performing vocational teams across the region.
- Establish a regional culture aligned with CEO values and promote continuous learning.
- Hold program management accountable to performance goals while practicing person‑centered people management.
- Collaborate closely with Central team leadership (Employee Experience, Legal & Compliance, Finance, IT) to implement initiatives and policies at the local level.
- Work closely with regional and local social enterprise staff to implement the program model collaboratively, establishing communication loops.
- Co‑develop improvement plans based on local insights and trends.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $95,000 – $119,000 annually. Comprehensive benefits package includes medical and dental coverage, professional development opportunities, paid parental leave, retirement plan, sick and vacation leave, paid holidays, and additional workplace perks.
