Base pay range

$175,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr

Our client, a well-established general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality public projects, is seeking a Senior Superintendent to join their team. This role will initially focus on ground up $92M Whitman MA Middle School that will last 2 years right along side ground up Police/Fire Station 3 Site in Easton MA $105M.

Description

The Senior Superintendent Responsibilities:

• Oversee all field operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Lead and manage on-site construction teams, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
• Coordinate subcontractor and supplier activities to maintain project schedules and workflow.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for field operations, working closely with the project management team.
• Conduct regular site inspections, addressing any issues that arise and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily reports.
• Participate in project meetings, providing insights on schedule, logistics, and construction challenges.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Profile

The ideal Senior Superintendent Candidate:

• 10+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in large-scale projects ($50M+ preferred).
• Proven experience managing public/academic/K-12 construction projects (preferred)
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple teams.
• Proficiency with construction management software, including Procore, P6, and BIM/VDC.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A track record of successfully delivering complex projects on schedule and within budget.
