Overview A well-established real estate organization is seeking a Commercial Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of large-scale office, retail, and industrial assets across the NY/NJ market. This is a high-visibility role focused on portfolio performance, tenant relations, and financial oversight within a structured, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of a multi-million-dollar commercial property portfolio
- Review and interpret commercial leases, including lease abstractions and compliance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, ensuring strong relationships and issue resolution
- Oversee financial performance including budgeting, expense tracking, and rent collections
- Coordinate with on-site field engineers and third-party vendors for maintenance and operations
- Partner with internal teams on tenant retention, renewals, and overall asset performance
- Conduct portfolio-level oversight without the need for frequent site visits
- Prepare reports and provide updates to senior leadership
Qualifications
- 2+ years of commercial property management experience
- Experience managing large, multi-million-dollar portfolios
- Strong understanding of commercial leases and lease abstraction
- Proficiency with Yardi, MRI, or similar property management systems
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
