Why We’re Hiring This Role:

  • We’re looking for a VP of Marketing to own our full go-to-market narrative and growth engine as we scale from early traction (600K+ developers) to category leadership in voice AI

  • This is a builder role focused on creating a high-performance, developer-first marketing system that supports both PLG growth and enterprise pipeline

  • You will partner directly with the founders to define the category, sharpen positioning, and translate technical depth into market impact

What You’ll Do:

  • 30 Day :

    • Build a deep understanding of Vapi’s product, developer motion, and enterprise GTM strategy

    • Audit current marketing channels, growth loops, and attribution systems

    • Align with founders and GTM leadership on positioning, priorities, and success metrics

  • 60 Day :

    • Establish marketing operating cadence (OKRs, pipeline reviews, reporting)

    • Refine positioning and messaging across developer and enterprise audiences

    • Begin scaling high-impact growth channels (content, SEO, developer engagement)

  • 90 Day :

    • Launch a cohesive marketing engine spanning developer growth, product marketing, and demand generation

    • Implement clear attribution and resource allocation across channels

    • Deliver measurable impact on developer activation and enterprise pipeline generation

Who You Are:

  • You’ve scaled a developer-first or infrastructure product from early traction to meaningful growth (e.g. $30M to $100M ARR or 100K to 1M+ users)

  • You understand both PLG and enterprise GTM motions and how to balance them effectively

  • Product marketing is your core strength. You can translate complex technical systems into compelling narratives

  • You operate at a VP/CMO level with strong ownership, judgment, and bias for action

  • You’ve worked in lean, high-growth environments and know how to prioritize ruthlessly

  • Bonus: Experience in voice AI, real-time systems, or conversational AI
