About the Role
Bayonet Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning and Edmonson Electric, divisions of IES Residential, Inc., are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team. This role focuses on developing and managing relationships with residential homebuilder accounts throughout the Orlando and Jacksonville markets.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in sales and account management, along with a solid understanding of the construction, electrical, or mechanical contracting industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with residential homebuilders; serve as the primary point of contact to ensure needs are met and issues are resolved. - Sales Growth
Identify new business opportunities and execute strategic plans to grow territory revenue and market share. - Client Engagement & Site Visits
Conduct regular job site visits to assess needs, present solutions, and provide on-site support. - Product & Industry Knowledge
Stay current on services, industry trends, and competitors to effectively educate clients and recommend solutions. - Quoting & Negotiation
Prepare proposals, deliver quotes, and negotiate contracts to successfully close deals. - Reporting & CRM Management
Track sales activity, maintain accurate CRM records, and provide performance and market reports. - Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction. - Market Analysis
Monitor market trends and competitor activity; provide insights to support business strategy.

Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of sales or account management experience
- Preferred experience within construction, plumbing, HVAC, or electrical contracting industries
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred
Skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, or plumbing systems is a plus
Work Environment, Physical Requirements & Travel
This role operates in a combination of field, office, and remote settings. Occasional lifting of materials up to 25 lbs. Regular travel is required throughout the Orlando and Jacksonville territories, along with occasional travel for meetings, training, or company events.
