Business Overview:
Our client, an Equipment Finance Subsidiary of a global bank, seeks an Executive Business Development Officer. This Regional Manager will primarily develop new clients and drive lease/loan growth within their assigned territory.
The role involves managing the end-to-end sales process for specific transactions, collaborating with Region Sales Management and Originations. Activities include business development through cold calling, financial statement review, and structuring financial solutions. The candidate should be skilled in analyzing financial statements, negotiating, and closing deals efficiently. Routine travel to meet partners, clients, and prospects is required.
Additional responsibilities include prospecting and regional business development projects, focusing on specific markets or industries for unassigned originators.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three or more years of leasing, sales, or commercial banking experience.
- Client-facing sales and relationship management skills.
- Ability to assess client needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Transaction management and negotiation skills.
- Business development experience via cold calling and database mining.
- Strong analytical, financial, and organizational skills.
- Results-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Teamwork and a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
