Architectural Associate II
in St Louis or Springfield offices. In this role, you will be an integral part of design teams, developing a variety of projects from concept design through construction contract administration. As an Architectural Associate II, you will receive a well-rounded professional experience and AXP development. Posting Location for this role:
Springfield, IL or St. Louis, MO What You'll Do
Assist in generating creative and innovative design ideas, concepts, and solutions while participating as an integral member of the design team. Generate drawings under supervision for schematic design, design development, and construction documents. Perform product research and assist the team with material selections. Exercise critical and creative judgement and design application skills in preparing client presentation materials. Use a creative approach to complete tasks and responsibilities on projects, within the scope of schedule and budget, in an organized, timely, and consistent way. Self-check work for accuracy, omissions, legibility, and for document compliance in accordance with the Project Delivery Manual. Take increasing ownership of tasks within project teams and studio activities. Keep open communication within the team and with the designated team leader. Communicate ideas and thoughts in a way that inspires others. Coordinate effectively with design partners and consultants. What You'll Need
Master's Degree in Architecture preferred; Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, required; degree must be from a NAAB-accredited university 2-4 years of work experience in an architectural office Healthcare experience preferred LEED accreditation preferred Proficient use of Revit required Experience with Lumion, Enscape, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office, preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong proficiencies in design and graphics software EEO and Diversity
