CTE and Cisco Academy Director
will develop research-based technology certification programs, oversee CCNA, CCNP, CCIE courses, support internships, and ensure on-time graduation. The role involves collaboration with school leadership, staff, students, parents, and industry partners to build and sustain robust tech pathways. Key responsibilities include: Designing and leading technology certification programs Developing partnerships with colleges, shared-time programs, and industry Preparing students for certifications and careers in networking Recruiting and training staff for certification courses Securing internships and employment opportunities for students Conducting staff professional development Qualifications Strong strategic and project management skills Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Experience with partnerships and community engagement Knowledge of laws affecting public charter schools Master’s degree or higher strongly preferred At least 5 years of relevant experience in education or related fields Valid credentials or licenses, including CTE certification Organizational, problem-solving, and data analysis skills Ability to learn quickly and work independently Preferred Skills Experience with technology systems and Google Apps Proficiency with standard office equipment Willingness to travel for development opportunities Physical Requirements Work onsite daily, setting up spaces and events Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, 12-month exempt position, equal opportunity employer.
