Salary and Compensation

Salary plus commission opportunity – average total yearly compensation is between $72K-$100K+ with a guarantee of $72K first year.

What you’ll do Prospecting and lead generation

Identify and research potential clients through various channels.

Cold call, email, and network to generate leads and create a strong pipeline.

Consultative selling

Understand client needs and pain points to tailor solutions that address their business challenges.

Present and demonstrate products/services effectively, highlighting their value.

Negotiation and closing

Skillfully negotiate terms, pricing, and contract details to reach mutually beneficial agreements.

Close sales deals and achieve or exceed assigned sales targets.

Customer relationship management

Build and maintain long‑term relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.

Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.

Market and competitive analysis

Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.

Use market insights to adapt sales strategies and identify new opportunities.

Product knowledge

Understand the details of the products and services being sold.

Continue to learn and stay up to date with the newest products, services, and trends.

Documentation

Maintain accurate and detailed records with appropriate pictures attached.

Safety

Practice safe driver policies at all times.

Keep a clean, organized and clutter‑free workspace.

Maintain customer confidentiality and practice proper incident reporting procedures.

Where you’ll work Culligan Sales Representatives spend much of their time out in the field, completing regular travel within their assigned territory. This means you’ll be exposed to various work environments, including indoor and outdoor spaces with various weather conditions. While you’ll be home every night, you will spend extensive time driving within your territory, as well as getting in and out of your vehicle. The role will involve both residential and industrial settings, with flexible hours to accommodate customer meetings and events. Physical demands include lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items, and standing, kneeling, and bending as situations require.

Proficiency with technology and regular use of computers and tablets are required.

Your qualifications

Valid driver’s license.

If driving a company vehicle, must successfully pass a driving record check per company auto liability insurance requirements and remain insurable.

2–5 years of B2B or commercial outside sales experience highly preferred.

Proven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close complex sales.

Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.

Must be able to drive a vehicle for 6 hours per day.

Demonstrates competency in computer and tablet use.

Solid verbal and written communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to self‑direct activities and manage time to ensure productivity.

Must successfully pass criminal background and drug screening checks per company requirements.

Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs on a repetitive basis (especially in locations with bottled water).
