Required Skills Industrial Designer – RL Hardware Responsibilities
Design and develop category-defining products
Combine usability, aesthetics, and technical insight to solve complex problems
Navigate cross-functional teams in a complex environment
Conceive elegant, effective ways to address ergonomic and mechanical challenges
Contribute concepts and problem solving across one or more projects
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field
5+ years of experience developing consumer electronics or wearable tech products
Clear communication, visualization, and problem solving skills
Fluid command of Rhino 3D, Solidworks, Creo or NX
Experience exploring and refining ideas through 2D visualization and physical prototyping
Expertise in designing for mass production
Excel in highly ambiguous situations
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
Public Compensation $144,000/year to $204,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
