
Analyst, Private Credit Portfolio Management - Data Management

Carlyle Private Credit seeks to hire an Analyst to serve as a key member of the Carlyle Private Credit Portfolio Management team which focuses on monitoring direct lending portfolio companies, liability management across the platform, valuations, portfolio level risk and performance attribution analysis, public company reporting requirements, data management and overall business management processes. This role will provide the Analyst with significant interaction with key senior management internally as well as growing external exposure to key parties including investors, lenders, ratings agencies and third-party valuation firms. The Analyst will develop both their business management acumen and credit skills in a team-oriented, fast-paced work environment.
You will be instrumental in building and enhancing the Data Management technology platform across the Global Credit business segment. This role involves working closely with both business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and contribute to the development and implementation of data management solutions that support our Global Credit business. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in data analysis, financial services, and project management, with an ability to bridge the gap between business and technology.
Primary Responsibilities
Participate in the design and implementation of data management solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and stakeholder expectations.
Conduct data analysis to support data quality, integration, and migration efforts within the data management platform.
Work closely with development teams to guide product development, from discovery through implementation and beyond.
Assist in managing the product backlog and prioritizing initiatives based on business impact.
Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and functionality.
Drive product adoption and usage among internal users, providing training and support as necessary.
Stay abreast of trends in credit markets, data management, technology, and the financial services industry to anticipate user needs and evolving market environments.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 2 years of portfolio/operations experience, preferable in the direct lending or private credit space
Experience with Data Management systems for Credit Products, preferred
Experience working with loan systems (e.g. WSO, Virtus, iLevel) preferred
Experience in documenting business processes required.
Experience training users a plus.
Willingness to take on new responsibilities as the environment evolves and new skills are needed
Ideal candidate will have diversity of thought, natural quantitative and analytical skills, strong ambition, self-motivation and excellent communication skills
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience managing large data sets a plus
The compensation range for this role is specific to New York City and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $120,000.
In addition to the base salary, the hired professional will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package spanning retirement benefits, health insurance, life insurance and disability, paid time off, paid holidays, family planning benefits and various wellness programs. Additionally, the hired professional may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary incentive program, the award of which will be dependent on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
