Title: Personal Banker II – Fulltime – Rankin
We are seeking a dynamic Personal Banker II, an experienced branch banking advisor who establishes, develops, and retains relationships with members to help meet their financial goals. The right candidate will have the ability to develop and retain financial relationships with members to help attain department goals.
What You Will Do
Perform teller and referral functions, opening new accounts and processing loan applications to build relationships and drive growth and sales opportunities.
Accurately count cash, checks, and package coins and currency.
Balance daily transactions and verify that cash totals are correct.
Promote, educate, and refer credit union financial products and services to members in the community based on their needs as determined from member interviews.
Assume responsibility for performing a broad variety of teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments, and sell cashier's checks with a high degree of accuracy in accordance with CU’s policies and procedures, including robbery procedures.
Requirements
High School degree or equivalent.
6 months to 1 year of branch banking experience (platform experience preferred).
Strong track record of delivering exceptional member service.
Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Cash handling experience and responsibilities required.
Strong customer service skills; comfortable multitasking; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proven capability in a relationship‑focused sales environment.
Branch hours – Mon–Thurs: 9 am–5 pm, Fri: 9 am–6 pm, Sat: 9 am–1 pm.
