Overview
Job Title: Superintendent Location: Milwaukee, WI | Job Type: Permanent As a Superintendent, you will be the driving force behind our field operations, ensuring every detail of the construction process is executed with precision and excellence. Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities in alignment with project documents, ensuring high-quality standards and timely delivery. Develop and enforce both short- and long-term project schedules. Coordinate subcontractor labor, site logistics, and material deliveries to maintain a clear and efficient workflow. Maintain seamless communication with internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders. Manage RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes, and lead regular project meetings. Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance. Drive the successful completion of punch lists and quality control processes. Enforce zero-tolerance safety standards, creating a secure and compliant job site environment. Anticipate and identify potential issues and provide solutions. Work closely with multiple departments, demonstrating resourcefulness and a team-first mindset. Essential Skills
Ability to guide, direct and coordinate the work of multiple activities at the same time. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan projects and jobs, prioritize work and meet deadlines. Client-oriented while keeping the company’s interests in mind. Excellent knowledge of construction methods and the ability to envision the finished product from inception. Proficient communication skills, both verbally and in writing, in English, to interact with owners, subcontractors, and fellow employees. Ability to write and read reports and make presentations as required. Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent with journeyman level trade experience, or a technical certificate or engineering degree from an accredited college. 5+ years managing large-scale construction projects as a site superintendent. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. Deep knowledge of construction methods and the ability to visualize the end product from the start. Client-focused, solution-oriented, and committed to excellence. Pay and Benefits
Pay range: $45.00 - $57.00/hr.
